The above pictures were taken by Bud Huffman on his 1970 trip to The Mearns and Allardice Castle. The Kirk of St. Ternan is located on Arbuthnott Estate about 1/2 mile from Allardice Castle. This is the burial place of many of the Barons of Allardice including Sir John Allardice, Knight and Baron of Allardice in the 17th Century.

Arbuthnott Church: consecrated in 1242
